Pastor Jeremy Marrone - Children's Pastor
What is your passion regarding the Kingdom of God, the Church, our Church, your ministry?
"My passion for the kingdom is to see those in darkness receive the mercy of God through salvation."
What is your life verse and why?
"Luke 1:73-75- God made an oath…to rescue us from the hand of our enemies, and to enable us to serve him without fear in holiness and righteousness before him all our days.”
What was your salvation experience?
"I grew up in the home of a pastor and ran from God in high school, turned my back on everything I knew was right. Then, Christmas eve 2000, God changed my heart and I decided to follow Him and leave the world."
Why did you get into ministry?
"One of my favorite quotes: “life is ours to be spent, not saved.” With that in mind, what better way to spend my life than on other people? I want to leave them better than I found them. My training has come through internships and bible school."
When did you join NCC staff?
"I joined the NCC staff in the fall of 2005. I have been attending NCC since January of 2001."
Who is in your immediate family?
"My wife Tara, who serves with me on staff in the children's ministry.
My mother Linda and father Gary Marrone.
My brother Jason, his wife Serena and my neice Bella."
Where is your favorite place to pray?
"Wherever I am at that time. But, for professional purposes, outside. Anywhere outside in nature."
